Winter Goalie Training copy


Join us this Winter for Goalie Training led by Rachel Vallarelli and James Rogers. Sessions will focus on proper technique, hand speed, arc play, communication and more! Goalies trainings will also feature live shots! Spots Limited to 16 total goalies per session!

Tuesday's, December - February

Dates: 12/8, 12/15, 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, *2/16

*1/26 cancelled due to inclement weather. Make-up scheduled for 2/16.

Covid Payment Policy: All winter training payments are final after December 1st 2020. Sessions can not be pro-rated and must be paid in full. Trainings will adhere to all NY State, facility, and Team 91 guidelines and policies. Any cancelled session will be rescheduled. A refund is only available with proof of illness from a doctor.

Rachel Vallarelli

A local product, Rachel Vallarelli has been a member of the Team USA training system since 2010. Vallarelli played professionally with the Baltimore Ride and Boston Storm of the UWLX. Collegiately Vallarelli holds NCAA records for Save Percentage and Goals Against while sitting 2nd All-Time in Wins at UMASS. Additionally, Vallarelli was a four-time conference champion and the 2015 A-10 Defensive Player of the Year. Vallarelli has coached at the Division 1 level at Fresno State, Villanova, and Wagner. She is the current assistant coach at SUNY Purchase. Still active in box lacrosse system, Rachel was the first female ever invited to the NLL combine.

James rogers

James Rogers is a native of White Plains, NY where he attended high school. Rogers played collegiately at Quinnipiac University where he was goaltender for the Bobcats. Coach Rogers has been coaching at Pelham Memorial High School for over 10 years; recently taking over as the Pelican's Varsity Head Coach in 2018 and won the Class C Section Championship in his first season.
