Playing background:

I started playing lacrosse at a very young age, so by the time I was in the 8th grade I knew I wanted to play collegiately. I went to John Jay High School (Cross River) where I had the opportunity to play along side some of the best in the game. The hard work I put in outside of my HS and club teams was rewarded when I was recruited to play for the University of Albany's Division 1 Women's Lacrosse Team. I played 4 years as a defender at UAlbany, where I got to play against the top programs in the nation.

How old were you when you started playing lacrosse and what made you pick up a stick?

I was 7 years old when I started playing lacrosse! I have older brothers and older cousins that played lacrosse and I was very competitive with them. When they started to play, I picked up the stick and fell in love with the game.

What is your favorite lacrosse memory?

My favorite lacrosse memory was my senior year of college, when my team played Notre Dame. It was a home game for Albany and it was the first time that a SUNY school hosted Notre Dame on their any sport! We had a rough beginning of the season and had not had many key wins on the season. We went into the game super prepared and energized and dominated the whole time, and we WON!! It was very cool to win against a top 5 program, and gave Albany some street cred!

Who was your favorite player to watch growing up?

My favorite player to watch growing up was Michelle Tumolo.

What was your first stick?

I don't remember what the name of it was, but I know it was a Brine Lacrosse head with pink strings.
