I grew up playing at Somers. After my junior year of high school I committed to play for Stony Brook University where I was a 3x 1st Team All-Conference selection. In my senior year I was named a Scholar All-American and was drafted by the Boston Cannons. In 2019 I will play for the Florida Launch.
How old were you when you started playing lacrosse and what made you pick up a stick?
I started playing when I was 10 after watching Kyle Harrison play in the 2005 National Championship. I've spent thousands of hours trying to imitate what he did in that one game. There are still days I practice his moves and try to play more like Kyle.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
Playing this sport has been one big dream come true, there is so much to choose from. Yet somehow, what sticks with me most are all of the moments I spent working while no one was watching. Whether it be playing on my own, with my brother in the backyard, or with my college roommate Ryan Bitzer. No fans, no coaches, no babes in the stands. . Those moments playing for nothing but the love of the game, chasing the best version of myself, are truly priceless.
Who was your favorite player to watch growing up?
My favorite player to watch growing up was Kyle Harrison.
What was your first stick?
I had a few beginner's sticks but the first stick I can remember was a Brine E3 on a harrow shaft. I played with a few of those all made exactly the same way for years.
