Sarah attended the University of North Carolina where she had two NCAA championship appearances (2015 and 2013) and won a National Championship in 2013. Sarah was a team captain as a senior in 2015. She was also named to the 2015 NCAA Championship Tournament team and was also named second team All ACC in her senior season. Scott holds the UNC single game draw control record and single season draw control record without ever having take the draw during her time at Carolina. Sarah was a Veteran Leader, the highest honor, in the Richard A. Baddour Carolina Leadership Academy, the nation's premier leadership development program in collegiate athletics. In high school, Scott was all section for three years at Yorktown High School. She was a 2X team captain and reached the state final four twice. Scott was named to ESPN Rise's top 20 defenders during her senior year in 2011. Sarah has been coaching youth lacrosse since 2011 and is currently is a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Yorktown girls Varsity lacrosse team for the second year.
